From the day Baby Adalynn was born, her family’s 100-pound dog, Fury, a bluenose pit bull often stigmatized, has been a steadfast companion. Despite the breed’s sometimes negative reputation, Fury has proven to be not only Ady’s best friend but also her vigilant protector. Their bond has deepened since the very beginning.
Most recently, Fury stood by Ady during the aftermath of a national disaster when Palmer, Alaska, their home, was struck by a 7.0 earthquake in November 2018. The seismic event, coupled with powerful aftershocks, was a terrifying experience for anyone, especially a child like Ady.
Since the earthquake, Ady has been grappling with panic attacks and insomnia. Fortunately, her loyal companion, Fury, has become a source of comfort. Unable to sleep without him in the room, Ady feels secure with Fury, who has been a constant in her life since birth and possesses a strength that brings her solace.
Typically, Fury rests near Ady’s crib at night. However, a heartwarming video captured by a baby cam reveals that their bond goes even deeper than imagined. In the video, Ady calls Fury onto her bed, where he lovingly cuddles her to sleep
