Sarah acted like she was trying to get away from something as she moved down the hallway at a rapid pace and seemed to stumble with every step. When Constable Caron approached Sarah, he saw that she was in trouble.
Sarah had put a lump of food in her throat at the end of lunch so she could finish eating before going back to class. Unfortunately, the food got stuck in his throat.
Sarah was having trouble breathing, and with every step she took down the hall, she knew she was getting weak.
Officer Caron quickly performed the Heimlich maneuver to extract food from his throat. She was grateful for her heroic actions that day.
