The city of Jefferson County owes this to the hilarious antics of Colorado Native and Community Center volunteer Vince Rosemaryk. Thanks to this pun, his hometown for more than a decade has become an instant tourist hotspot with the patriotic attention it receives from major highway signs. His sign-writing “talent” began seven years ago when one of his volunteer assignments was to build larger signs for community center events.
But he shook things up on April Fool’s Day two years later when he posted his inaugural street sign joke: “Indian Hills annexed by Morrison slows down.”
1. Ouch! Hope no politicians were driving on this road the day this sign was posted.
Since then, pun-loving Rosemaryk decided to start throwing “anything funny that might catch your eye.” For five years now, Mastermind has been updating weird posts every few days, ranging from different categories like puns, current events, general jokes, and random thoughts.
2. No one is spared from his humor! Pretty sure vegans can take a joke, right
He shared that he made up the joke due to the heavy police presence running a slew of speed cameras in the town of Morrison, adjacent to Indian Hills. “A lot of people thought it was a joke, and the attention it got was really surprising,” he said. She earned a lot of punch, including a police phone call from Morrison.
3. Don’t you just love those drivers who don’t know that there’s a signal stick in the car.
4. And sometimes he can be a grammar police, but if he saves lives, why not?!
5. He forgot to leave his number, I am pretty sure many would be calling.
6. There’s a sign even for cheese lovers!
7. He loves his veggies!
8. Who loves drama? Not this guy!
