Isabelle has shown that she is not only a driver, but that she cares about the happiness of children.
She wanted Axl to know that even though his mother wasn’t by his side, he could always count on her while he was on the bus. His behavior assured the scared boy that everything would be fine.
Amy thought a photo of her son and the bus driver was worth sharing, so she posted it on Facebook. She expected people to like her, but she had no idea she would get so many positive comments.
The photo was shared by the local police department and generated more than 2,400 reactions.
Isabelle did not expect the praise she received. “I didn’t think it was such a big deal personally. I think it’s something I would do,” she said.
But it was a big problem. The next day, Axel was no longer afraid because he knew he had a friend in Isabel. He was smiling and happy to embark on a new adventure.
Now Axl looks forward to each new day at school and Isabel has been a big part of that.
