Caroline Raichel later told police she persuaded her boyfriend Jeremy Floyd to bring their dog to the clinic in order to escape physical abuse.
Rachel said the terror started two days ago at her house. Floyd wouldn’t let her go and beat and threatened her.
She told authorities she first tried to get help by jumping out of a bedroom window and running down the street, but Floyd harassed her, dragged her home and threatened her with sexual assault.

“While on his way to the vet, Floyd allegedly pointed the gun at Rachel, threatening to kill her and her family,” police said.

According to WKRN, Floyd has a criminal history that includes burglary, drug possession and dealing, and grand theft, for which he was convicted and served time in prison.
Reicht was treated in hospital for a head injury, black eye and bruising, and Floyd is currently being held without bond.
