Constables Mercado and Tavira from the Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department were patrolling Hobart Street when the youngest puppy caught their eye. The little puppy was alone so they stopped and took him away and put him in the car for safety.
They gave the little Hobart villa the name of the street it was on and returned it to the department. He took Hobart to the officers and never left them.
No one applied for the puppy, but Hobart found his place in life.
“The newest member of our K-9 unit,” the Hollywood division of LAPD said in a tweet. “Welcome to LAPD Hobart!”
