As the New York Post reports, Danielle Stephanie’s daughter is out of state to attend a prestigious college. Unfortunately, she had to leave her beloved hamster in the family home.
Although he never considered himself an animal lover, Fermann boasted of his secret sympathy for his daughter’s pet hamster. Once Stephanie left, Daniel did his best to buy toys, trinkets and trinkets for his four-legged friend.
One rainy Sunday afternoon, Daniel was cleaning Chester’s cage. As always, he put the predatory creature in his favorite brightly colored ball. Unfortunately, Daniel found the ball without the top cover after just thirty minutes. Chester was running for it!
After searching every nook and cranny of the house, Daniel sent quick text messages to his daughter. The single dad tried every possible way to get the hamster out of its den, but to no avail.
Stephanie remembered how much Daniel cared about her and his hamster. I took screenshots of his text messages, uploaded them and quickly went viral.

Within twelve hours, Chester finally found Daniel. In the end, Daniel didn’t have to miss work to find his boyfriend. Although the little boy was hungry, he was found completely safe. But the loss of the poor creature truly belongs to Daniel.
“I am empty nests now,” is quoted by the Herald People’s Daily. “I don’t have much to do and I almost missed the only thing I had.”
Although fathers are often scared, Stephanie’s story reminds us how pure a father’s love can be. Everyone deserves someone like Daniel in their life.
