Cats and dogs have always been thought of as complete opposites and deadly enemies, but it turns out that couldn’t be further from the truth. As different as they are, there is always an underlying sense of protection and survival in animals that often transcends species. And let’s face it, acts of kindness aren’t new when it comes to our loving dogs.
In the video below, the camera captures a dog helping a stray cat in need. The dog noticed that the cat was freezing in the snow and his instincts prompted him to drag the kitten to his outdoor kennel to provide shelter and a place to warm up.
The dog’s owner heard the commotion and recorded the heroic and moving moment for all to see.
While there isn’t a lot of information in the video, and I hope the cat received proper care at some point, this dog’s incredible actions and empathy deserve to be recognized.
