Most of the time we can point the finger at them and believe that people in prison are the worst in the society we live in. When we think of inmates, it certainly comes to mind that their main purpose is to escape when the opportunity arises, and no one will miss such an opportunity.
However, the following story shows us just the opposite!
A bus carrying 50 inmates collided with a huge truck on a deserted Arizona road. You could say that this is the best time for them to escape, but they haven’t even thought about that. This is what the detainees involved in the accident did: instead of fleeing as quickly as possible, they stayed on the scene and started helping the injured. The victims were numerous.
After the accident, the bus driver and more than 20 detainees were seriously injured, two of whom required medical attention and were taken to hospital.
After hearing that story, I started to believe again that humans literally still exist. In fact, it is important to understand that regardless of the act behind bars, he is not inferior to people, with feelings, feelings and a sense of pity.
