When Justin Roser was only nine months old, his father, Army First Lieutenant Jonathan Roser, was killed while serving overseas. Jonathan’s wife, Jessica Jones, had spoken to her husband just 12 hours before and informed him of their adorable baby.
Unfortunately, Justin did not have the opportunity to meet his father. While picking up the pieces in their Texas home and learning to live without her husband and father, Jessica decides to bring back her husband’s black 1999 Toyota Celica convertible.
No one was driving her and she had no money to pay the loan. She therefore abandoned the car without knowing that one day she would find this car.
Fast forward 15 years to a teenager who was desperate to know his father. Justin had ID plates, photos, and other memorabilia from his father, but there was one thing he really wanted.
Daddy’s old car. He couldn’t explain it, but he was around 16 and really wanted to sit in the same seat his father had once sat, feel the wind blowing through his hair like his father once did.
