Hard boiled eggs are nutritious and great to eat. They are easily portable and go into so many fantastic recipes such as potato salad and deviled eggs.
The traditional way to hard cook eggs is to boil them; however, this instructional video, shows just how to make wonderful, buttery tasting yet firm cooked eggs without boiling.
The first step is to get out a muffin tin. Using a muffin tin allows you to cook up to 12 eggs at a time. If you are cooking eggs for a party, you can use two tins. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees (a bit lower or higher depending on if your oven tends to run hot or cool), then gently place the pre-cooked eggs in the muffin tin, taking care not to crack the shells.
Cook for 30 minutes and remove from oven. Have a bowl of cool water ready and add ice. Immediately use a spoon to remove the cooked eggs and bathe the in the cool water for a few minutes.
