Jared Watson is a boy who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, a genetic disease that affects the part of the nervous system that controls voluntary muscle movement. Although confined to a wheelchair, Jared continues with his life as usual, attending his school, Delmar High School. But the interesting thing about Jared that nobody knows about is his love for music, you can find him singing all the time at home, and boy! Jared had always dreamed of going to Nashville to pursue his singing career. To make it real, Jared must first be brave and show the world his true hidden talent. So he participated in a talent show in high school and practiced every day at home to be ready for the big day. Finally, it’s time for Jared to shine and let her teammates find out what a gift she is blessed with.
His father accompanies him on stage to play the guitar and support him. Jared chose the country song I Told You So, originally performed by country singer Randy Travis and later featured by country star Carrie Underwood.
When he opened his mouth, the whole audience was surprised by the power of his voice. Not only that, but people can see Jared’s passion and love for music through his beautiful performance.
