A man was cruising the Amazon when he saw a dog stranded on a desert island and knew he had to save it.

David Foster was on a river cruise when he first spotted a hungry dog abandoned on an island in the middle of the Amazon jungle. “When she came running to the beach, all I could see was this skeletal shape,” he said.

He knew immediately that there was no way to leave the dog behind. But that doesn’t mean saving her will be easy.
