Josette, who lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, seems like a good mom. She cooks two lunches a day for her family. However, she only has one son, Dylan. Why bother packing two lunches for a kid?

Dylan was having lunch for him and a friend. When Josette found out what he was up to, she posted the conversation she had with her son on social media.

The mom posted that Dylan asked her to make two lunches one day. Then Josette asked him if he was not satisfied with his first lunch. Dylan replied, Yes, he was full, but the second lunch was actually for another child.

He tells his mother that the little boy brings a cup of fruit for lunch every day. He also didn’t think he had enough money to buy lunch at school, according to ABC13.

Josette eventually learned what was going on with the little boy and his family. She said the truth is close to home, as she has been homeless for some time.

She told ABC13 that she and Dylan once lived in their car and washed in public restrooms. She also knew what it was like when you didn’t have enough to eat.

She started preparing two lunches a day, one for her son and one for his classmate. Soon the little boy’s mother found out what was going on. It was then that Josette received a call from the school asking her to come.
