Urban and Combs hadn’t collaborated before Combs’ surprise appearance on “The Speed of Now” tour, creating a buzz among fans. Urban shared the theme of the Nashville show, “BROADWAY TO THE BIG TIME,” emphasizing the journey from Lower Broadway performers to Nissan Stadium headliners. He posted on Instagram, including video snippets of their onstage collaboration.

After introducing Combs to the crowd, Urban and Combs performed Combs’ “When It Rains It Pours” to the audience’s delight. The unexpected duet of two country music superstars left the crowd amazed. They followed up with Urban’s “We Were Us,” with Combs taking on the Eric Church parts from the recorded version.

Expressing gratitude on Instagram, Urban thanked Combs for joining them on his weekend off and conveyed his love. Fans were thrilled to witness Urban sharing the stage with younger artists.
