For three years, Poddy Greyhound was kept in a small cage in a dog blood bank called the Hemopet. He was one of about 200 dogs kept there, most of whom were rejected by the racing industry. But Bodhi was about to see better days.
In the Hemopet, Bodhi was locked in a cage so small that he could barely stand up or turn around. It was only intended to bleed every 10 to 14 days for up to 18 months. But PETA stepped in and put an end to it.
Bodhi was saved and he is now living the life he always deserved! He was even able to see the beach and the ocean for the first time. No more cages for this lovely boy, we are so grateful!
