An Italian farmer named Christian Mallucci saw his dog, Spelacchia, give birth and give birth to a rare green puppy. The puppy was in a litter of five dogs, but all of his siblings had white fur like the mothers. The guy called the pistachio green boy!

A puppy born with green fur is very rare, and it is believed to be the result of a puppy coming into contact in the womb with a green pigment called biliverdin. It is harmless, the pistachio color has already started to fade and will continue to fade.

The farmer offered the other four puppies up for adoption but decided to keep Pistachios to help him raise sheep on the farm one day. And since green is the color of luck and hope, that sounds like a solid idea!
