Freshman linebacker Zach Tweet pulled over on the freeway after spotting a woman with a flat tire.

Tina Gunn wrote about the experience on Facebook:

“I was coming back from meeting my son in Minnesota and got a flat tire on the highway in Iowa. I tried to request roadside assistance on my Allstate app (because I don’t know how to change a flat tire), but I didn’t get a signal on my phone because of where we were, it’s Iowa, so I was looking forward to playing with my phone and thought that instead of using the app, I would call Allstate (which takes longer).

I was thinking, it’s gonna take a few hours for them to get to me as soon as I get them, when my son is gone, someone’s there. One such man appeared out of nowhere, dressed as a Hawkeye from Iowa and saying, “Can I help you?”

Long story short, his name is Zack Tweedt, Iowa Hawkeyes football player… Just wanted to appreciate him for his kindness and help to a stranger who needed to get her kids home safely security. He could have continued, but he didn’t! What a good guy! May God reward them today for their goodness! “
