As a student with Down syndrome, Sean was about to begin a new transition in his life and his parents were rightly concerned about the reaction of the other students towards their son.

Sean’s parents took to Facebook to post their concerns about Sean’s starting school. Soon, this post was widely circulated. Due to the publication’s coverage, a group of local motorcycle clubs showed up at Sean’s house on the first day of school to escort the student, reports Biker Digital.

The clubs are known for their support of US forces and veterans, but they clearly weren’t above helping students in need.

Powerful bikers wanted to send a message that harassment would not be tolerated and perpetrators would have to respond. Can you imagine how excited Shawn was that these guys were walking him to school?

Not surprisingly, a special friendship grew out of the act of service. Now, the biker gang regularly attends Shawn’s soccer games to show their support and encourage him. The beautiful boy now has people looking for him for the rest of his life.
