This is the principle of life that this young employee of Walmart takes to heart.
When he started working at Walmart, John paid all of his salaries into the college fund. But even when his savings were earmarked for his future studies, John did not hesitate to help the lady in need. Without thinking twice, John knew he had to do something.
“I felt in my heart that the Lord had told me that I had to help him.”
Looking at the situation, John said the simple phrase “Well I got you, I got you” and handed the lady $110 of her own money to pay for her groceries.
This random act of kindness was noticed by Lacey Smith who was standing in line at the checkout and snapped the photo of the kind-hearted young man. Smith shared the young man’s good deed on Facebook and it quickly went viral.
John knew he had to do what he had to do.
As the story spreads online, a GoFundMe page has been set up to help raise money for John’s University tuition and has now raised over $31,000! John just spent $110 but never imagined he would get so much back!
John already has such a big heart at such a young age. Of course, it pays to do good!
