Simon Cowell pressed the Golden Buzzer for the Nightbirde singer who revealed she had cancer and a slim chance of survival on America’s Got Talent on Tuesday.
Nightbirde, real name Marczewski, sang an original song called It’s Okay during the season 16 episode.
The 30-year-old Ohio native said the song was about the last year of her life and that she was suffering from cancer that was still in her lungs, spine and liver.
Flashbacks: Marczewski became an instant fan favorite when she appeared on AGT in June, where she shared the story of her battle with cancer and sang an original song about being good while feeling lost.

After her moving song Simon, 61, seemed at a loss for words, Nightbirde stepped in and told her, “You can’t wait for life to get tough any longer before you decide to be happy.”
Simon was about to cry because he told the singer he wasn’t going to give her a yes, but he would give her something else.
Then he bent down and pushed the golden bell.
She started crying when Simone came on stage for a hug and told her that everything about her performance was “really special”.
America’s Got Talent often has contestants grabbing the viewer’s attention with their personal stories, and that was especially true for Nightbirde co-star Jane Markzewski.
Sadly, the super talented lost her battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 31 on February 19, 2022. 🙁
