Officer Uriah did what she had to do in time. She and the man fell backwards as the train crossed the tracks. The train struck the man’s legs, but Officer Uriah and his colleague dealt with it at the scene.

The event was terrifying for the couple but luckily ended well. Although the 66-year-old was taken to hospital for medical treatment for the leg injuries he sustained in the crash, he is in stable condition after the ordeal, according to Lodi News. .

Officer Oriya’s camera captured the dramatic scene. “My heart stopped (by) watching this. What a wonderful woman, such a wonderful human being and an incredible officer,” commented Kristi Marie.

The Lodi Police Department showed its appreciation in a message that read, “Officer Uriah risked his life to save another and his actions prevented today’s tragedy. We are extremely proud of the Officer Erika Uriah and her heroism.” We are truly blessed to have such wonderful human beings who are willing to help others unconditionally.
