In the video, you see Chuck in an orange and black outfit with a gray T-shirt on top, with matching shoes sliding back and forth as he dances without music. He looks at the window where Aiden is, making sure he can see him.
The next shot shows Aiden laughing and greeting his father. When he has the strength, he tries to imitate the same movements his father does. Chuck tells the reporter in the video that he tries to communicate with his son in the best way possible. Aiden, with a big smile on his face, likes to know what kind of dance his dad will do every time he stops.
Aiden can sometimes come home during the week, but this day of the week makes Chuck want to do whatever he can to show how much he loves and supports his son. Laurie, Aiden’s mother, records her husband every time he visits to tell him where he needs to be to make his own moves. She loves all the twists and turns around her husband, as does their son.
During a video chat at home, Aiden, Lori and Chuck talk about how much family means to them and do whatever it takes to help each other. They are a close family who will do whatever it takes to make others happy. You can see Chuck choke a bit as his son talks about how much he enjoyed seeing his dad there for him and how much he laughed.
Leukemia is a frightening diagnosis that requires many treatments to fight it. Aiden is blessed with a loving and supportive family that wants to keep his spirits high.
