Because he lost his parents, he was enrolled in the adoption program. A young family wanted to adopt him, but his aunt knew what 11-year-old Carter really wanted.
At Christmas, they gave her a photo of their family and a sentimental note next to it. His aunt asked him if he would like to join their family and become the eighth member of the family. There were also documents in the photo for adoption, and Carter couldn’t help but cry at the scene.
