Animal rescuer Jodi Obregón went to a famous landfill and saw what looked like an abandoned pet house in the rain. But she still approached him just to make sure, and a cute little face appeared. There was a small dog with mange inside.
How can someone abandon a dog here like this? The animal’s bed was wet and they must have thought leaving her with a blanket was fine. Jodi carefully transported the dog to her car, then went to the vet.
She named the 10 month old puppy Gila, and the puppy was placed in a medical incubator. As she continued to recover and receive therapeutic baths, she learned the ropes of life like an ordinary dog. And it wasn’t long before Gila found the perfect family to spend the rest of her life with!
